Powell

Turn Powell’s product vision into market wins – own the story, the assets, the intelligence, and the analyst narrative.

Why this role, why now

Powell is entering its most important market moment since it was founded. A recent significant funding round led by Cathay Capital, a Gartner Visionary recognition, and a bold FY26 product vision have put the company at the intersection of two forces reshaping enterprise software: the AI wave and the digital workplace transformation. The question is no longer whether Powell’s product is strong enough. The question is whether the market hears the right story – clearly, consistently, and at the right time.

Product Marketing foundations are built and well organized – core GTM assets, analyst relationships, and an early messaging framework. What comes next is more exciting: translating Powell’s new product vision into a messaging architecture that wins deals, activating it across every channel and audience, sustaining analyst relationships that directly influence pipeline, and building a market intelligence cadence that keeps product and GTM aligned with reality.

This role reports directly to the CPO and sits at the center of Powell’s FY26 growth engine.

About Powell

Powell is a digital workplace platform built entirely on Microsoft 365 – one trusted space where employees find what they need, communications actually land, and IT stays in control. Trusted by over 550 organizations and 2M+ users, with a partner network spanning 70+ partners across 35+ countries. Recognized as a Visionary in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Intranet Packaged Solutions. Headquartered in Paris, with offices in Germany, Australia, and the United States.

Our vision: to transform Microsoft 365 into the digital workplace people actually use – and the trusted knowledge base AI needs

What you’ll own

1. GTM assets & sales enablement.  Ensure that Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success never walk into a room unprepared – and never depend on you to write every pitch from scratch. You design the master templates and teach the team to build their own winning recipe from them. You are also Powell’s evangelist – on stage at webinars and events, with prospects in language tuned to each persona, and across our partner ecosystem and the broader Microsoft sphere – turning every stage into a pipeline moment. For example: corporate pitch deck and product decks, competitive battlecards and one-pagers, a customer proof library, a regular webinar schedule, and keynote or panel appearances that put Powell on the map.

2. Messaging & positioning.  In tight collaboration with Marketing execution, make Powell’s new product vision impossible to misunderstand. You are the custodian of Powell’s narrative, from the overarching vision story down to persona-specific messages that move buyers to act. For example: co-own the FY26 messaging architecture in EN and FR and sharpen positioning against Microsoft-native alternatives.

3. Analyst relations.  Own Powell’s credibility with the analysts who shape our buyers’ shortlists. Plant Powell’s narrative with key firms before any evaluation begins, rather than under deadline pressure. For example: submissions and briefings delivered on time, a reusable evidence pack, and proactive contact with priority analysts between cycles.

4. Market intelligence.  Be the voice of the market inside Powell – the source Product and GTM turn to for what is changing and what buyers need next. For example: a bi-monthly cadence with recommended actions, competitive and Microsoft-ecosystem tracking, and customer and partner signals turned into recommendations.

What success looks like in your first 12 months

  • Powell speaks with one voice – Sales, partners, and Marketing tell the same compelling story in every market, without needing you in the room for every conversation.
  • You empower Sales to build pitches that convert – trained to craft the best recipe from master templates, so every customer conversation starts from strength, not a blank page.
  • You are Powell’s evangelist – on stage at webinars and conferences, but also across our partner ecosystem and the broader Microsoft sphere – and every appearance converts an audience into a tangible business opportunity.
  • Powell’s analyst credibility is protected and growing – your reusable evidence pack means every future submission cycle is faster, sharper, and less stressful than the last.
  • You are the voice of the market inside Powell – your intelligence cadence ensures the product roadmap reflects what customers and analysts actually need, not what the team assumes.
  • Competitive conversations no longer catch the team off guard – Powell’s positioning vs. Viva, LumApps, and native SharePoint is sharp, evidenced, and understood across Sales, Marketing, and partners.

What you’ll bring

Must-haves

  • 4–8 years in Product Marketing or GTM strategy, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
  • Proven ability to turn complex product narratives into crisp, buyer-facing messaging – and the editorial discipline to keep it consistent.
  • Experience owning sales enablement assets: pitch decks, battlecards, one-pagers, case studies.
  • Comfortable with analyst relations cycles – preparation, submission, briefing, and follow-through.
  • Strong market research instincts: you know how to turn competitive signals into actionable intelligence.
  • Excellent written communication in both French and English – you write copy that sounds like Powell, not a committee. You leverage efficiently AI to augment your work and knows exactly when to complete any work with your human touch.
  • Cross-functional credibility: you work effectively with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success without needing a formal mandate.

Strong pluses

  • Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem – SharePoint, Teams, Copilot – and the digital workplace or intranet category.
  • Previous exposure to Gartner Magic Quadrant or Forrester Wave submission processes.
  • Comfort with AI-related positioning: governance, Copilot readiness, knowledge management, and the AI foundation narrative.
  • Experience in multi-market, multi-language GTM (France, Germany, US)

How you work

  • Story-first – you start with the buyer’s problem, not the product feature.
  • Evidence-anchored – no claim goes out without a customer name, a partner verbatim, or a verified data point.
  • Structured – you can manage multiple asset types, deadlines, and stakeholders without dropping anything.
  • Collaborative – you treat Sales and CS as primary sources of market truth, not just internal clients.
  • Commercially minded – you understand how messaging directly shapes pipeline, win rate, and deal size.
  • Brand-consistent – you protect Powell’s voice: witty, warm, human, bold, never corporate.

What we offer

  • A strategic PMM seat at the intersection of AI, governance, and the future of digital work – reporting directly to the CPO.
  • Real ownership of Powell’s go-to-market narrative and analyst visibility in a pivotal growth year.
  • Access to a rich set of real customer stories, partner voices, and field intelligence across English, French, and German-speaking markets.
  • A team that values directness, intellectual curiosity, and content that actually moves deals.
  • A hybrid, supportive environment in central Paris (2 days/week in office).
  • Compensation & benefits: salary range, variable, BSPCE/equity, RTT, meal vouchers, health cover, learning budget, remote days – details to be provided.
