Aerospace Product & Marketing Lead (B2B SaaS)

Spacebackend

We know you have access to GPT. We use them too. But for your application, please leave

the LLM off. We would much rather read two sentences of genuine, slightly imperfect English

about who you are than a flawless, five-paragraph AI-generated essay that sounds like everyone else.

About Spacebackend

Spacebackend revolutionizes system integration in the aerospace industry through AI-driven interoperability across various hardware components. Our product LynapseTM streamlines the entire satellite integration workflow by enabling modular integration across payloads, components, and subsystems. The LynapseTM core technology transforms hardware specifications into digital twins and automatically generates, tests, and validates hardware-agnostic, OS-agnostic on-board satellite middleware software. Lynapse is a web-based collaborative modeling and design tool for mission-critical projects, allowing teams to create, test, validate, and simulate data interfaces for dozens or hundreds of hardware components composing satellites, spacecraft, or lunar landers.

Role Overview

As a Product & Marketing Lead, you will drive the product vision, strategy, and execution for Spacebackend’s AI-powered platform. You will help us in product commercialization while ensuring deeper product-market-fit by guiding the product roadmap, translating customer needs into clear requirements, and ensuring strong cross-functional alignment between engineering, business, and customer stakeholders.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on product and technical experience particularly in fast-growing B2B AI SaaS platforms serving enterprise users, workflow automation, or system-modeling tools. You should be comfortable collaborating with technical teams and business counterparts to deliver solutions that balance innovation, feasibility, and market demand.

Product-Led Marketing & GTM

  • Orchestrate and manage internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and cross-functional team members to ensure the timely delivery of strategic assets.
  • Drive continuous outbound marketing initiatives, GTM campaigns and lead-generation assets to support Sales in closing deals.
  • Lead the creation, design, and continuous maintenance of product documentation, user manuals, release guides, and self-service onboarding materials to drive user adoption and platform engagement.

UI/UX, Websites & Marketing Design

  • Own the UI/UX design processes for the product platform to ensure proper implementation of features and seamless integration into workflows and entry points.
  • Lead the visual and functional design for all company websites, digital channels, and marketing materials (e.g., brand assets, decks, landing pages, and campaign collateral).
  • Uphold the product’s overall visual identity, brand strategy, and UI/UX evolution based on continuous user feedback and business growth.

Customer Requirements & Feedback

  • Engage with customers, technical experts, and industry partners to gather insights and transform them into detailed product requirements, feature specs, and user stories.
  • Develop customer training programs, tutorials, product decks, and interactive training materials to support user onboarding, technical enablement, and feedback validation loops.

Cross-Functional Execution & Documentation

  • Coordinate closely with the Technical Lead, to ensure roadmap priorities, feature specifications, and technical trade-offs are clearly communicated.
  • Maintain structured internal specifications, release notes, and product documentation to align cross-functional team members around product deliverables.
