As part of the POWER Division and reporting to the Product Marketing team (Thermal Systems), you will actively contribute to market analysis, business data management, and product strategy development.
You will work on concrete topics related to heat pumps, thermal systems, and associated components, in close collaboration with marketing, R&D, and regional teams.
Your Main Responsibilities

- Market Analysis & Business Data
Consolidate and analyze market data (volumes, technology mix, penetration rates)
Support market sizing exercises (bottom-up / top-down approaches)
Contribute to the update of the Market Data Book
Analyze gaps vs previous years and challenge assumptions
Support system-level analysis (benchmark vs internal assumptions / external sources such as S&P)

- Pricing & Competitiveness
Contribute to market pricing and product competitiveness analysis
Support the development of price / competitiveness waterfalls
Analyze gaps between Valeo targets and market benchmarks
Contribute to identifying competitiveness levers (cost, content, system architecture)

- Product Strategy Support
Support the structuring of product roadmaps
Contribute to the identification of OEM customer needs
Analyze technology trends (e.g., heat pumps, refrigerants, system architectures)
Support product development prioritization

- Regional Coordination & Data Consolidation
Collect and consolidate inputs from regions (Europe, China, North America…)
Ensure consistency and reliability of data
Track updates on pricing and market assumptions

- Support to Strategic Deliverables
Prepare materials for internal reviews (SPP, MTP, Board…)
Build clear and impactful presentations (Google Slides / PowerPoint)
Develop dashboards and data visualizations (Excel / Google Sheets)
- Expected Deliverables
Market analysis and synthesis (slides / excel)
Charts and dashboards (Market Data Book)
Contributions to market sizing exercises
Pricing and competitiveness analysis
Regular reporting on progress
About You
- Education Engineering or Business School with a specialization in Marketing, Data, or Strategy
- Level Master’s degree
- Technical Skills Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (advanced formulas required) Comfortable working with data and databases Good command of PowerPoint / Google Slides Previous experience in data analysis or market analysis is a plus
- Professional Skills Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Structured and detail-oriented mindset Ability to work in an international environment Interest in the automotive industry and complex products
- Personal Skills Curious and proactive Autonomous with a strong sense of priorities Good synthesis skills Strong interpersonal skills
- Languages Fluent English required (international environment)
